My name is Steph and I resigned from my job as a Marketing Executive in the horseracing industry in order to travel around South East Asia throughout 2018! As well as my job I left behind assorted pets, including my beloved Jack Russel dog Badger and my horse Minnie, and of course my wonderful family and friends. I created this blog so that they could all keep up with my adventures and enjoy the journey with me.
Although I had been lucky enough to holiday in some fantastic places in the past I had never done anything like this so it was a terrifying, exciting and amazing prospect. My hope was to meet lots of interesting new friends along the way and finally put my creative writing degree to good use (after 10 years!) I know that there’s lots of blogs out there, and I cannot promise that this one is any more insightful, informative or original than the others, but if you know me or you’re a fan of Bridget Jones then it’s worth a little read!
